Cables & Cameras presents a new programme of short films

At the culmination of another hugely successful year, Cables & Cameras, Bristol’s hub for POC filmmakers, is staging a Reel Shorts evening as its final event of 2023.

Adam Murray from the Bristol Black Horror Club is hosting the event, which will conclude with a discussion. Among the guests will be director Muhebur Rahman Shana. Here’s the line-up so far of the new regional short films that are included:

Daughters Of The Sea – Writer/Director: Krystal S. Lowe

Ghost & Machines – Director : Muhebur Rahman Shana

Fluid Symphonies – Film experience by Onismo Muhlanga & Tarah Kandial

Your Bad Neighbour – Director : Ka Long Tung

Sticks of Fury – Director: Yuan Hu. Writers: Louis Chan & Bruin Chan

The event takes place at the Cube Cinema on Friday 15 December. Everyone who buys a ticket will also be entered into what’s billed as a “truly special raffle”. Go here for tickets and further information.
