Contributions sought for lockdown ‘Isolated Together’ community film project

By Robin Askew  Sunday Apr 12, 2020

Like everybody else, the members of Bristol’s Friction Collective video production company have seen all their work postponed or cancelled during the lockdown. So they’ve decided create a community video project for this time of enforced separation and are seeking your input.

They’re asking Bristolians to “share funny, touching, meaningful and impactful stories from being stuck in the house with the cat, house plants, ball and chain or hyper children” for a series of short films. Over the coming weeks, they’ll be posing questions on Facebook and Instagram and inviting your response. First up: What’s driving you mad about the lockdown? And what’s keeping you sane?

See the teaser above for the kind of thing they’re after. To take part, simply record your contribution in portrait format on a smartphone or tablet and fire it over to jack@frictioncollective.com or WhatsApp or text it to 07876544297.
