Creative lockdown: Abby Timms

By Lowie Trevena  Tuesday Apr 7, 2020

Abby Timms is part of the ongoing Bristol24/7 Creative Lockdown series, showcasing how people in Bristol have been getting arty under lockdown.

Abby Timms, who works in the TV and film as a floor runner, has created a skit to make people smile.

The minute-and-a-half long sketch, which was made with the help of her friends Devante Fleming, behind the camera, and Ashleigh Carter, as the actor, depicts the stresses of quarantine life.

“I am a very creative person and not being able to get out and use my kit isn’t fun, so I decided to try and see what I could do remotely,” says Abby. “I wrote the script and asked an actor friend to film and send it so I could edit to kill some boredom and practice with what I could.”

Abby plans to make as many videos as she can during the lockdown, to keep herself occupied while not working on TV and film sets.
