Creative lockdown: Pete Griffiths
Pete Griffiths is part of the ongoing Bristol24/7 Creative Lockdown series, showcasing how people in Bristol have been getting arty under lockdown.
A dad from Yatton has recorded the quietness of Bristol under lockdown.
Pete Griffiths, who travels into the centre of the city for work several times a week, wanted to record the “eerie stillness” of Bristol during the Government-enforced lockdown.
is needed now More than ever
“The inspiration was wanting to create a memory of this time to show the kids when they grow up as I have never seen Bristol, or anywhere, like this,” says Pete, who hopes to create more videos.
“I am hoping it’s a once in a lifetime kind of thing.”
