is needed now More than ever
Seven Worlds, One Planet is the latest in a long line of wildlife documentaries made by the BBC’s Natural History Unit, which has been based on Whiteladies Road for more than 60 years, and created acclaimed shows, including Planet Earth, Blue Planet and Dynasties.

Speaking about this latest series, Julian Hector, head of the unit, said: “Seven Worlds, One Planet takes our viewers on a journey to the seven continents on Earth, discovering what makes each one so special.
“I promise new animal behaviour and new perspectives of our natural world including the threats upon it and how some species are adapting to a changing world.
“I am so proud and delighted that BBC Studio’s Natural History Unit will be giving our home city a sneak peak of the series before the rest of the world sees it.”
People can apply for tickets on the BBC shows and tours website until 10pm on Thursday, October 10. The 300 public tickets will then be allocated randomly.
The series follows the fortunes of some of the Earth’s most fascinating creatures – from the baking plains of Africa and frozen waters of Antarctica to the far reaches of Asia.
It also touches on the many challenges faced by animals in a modern world dominated by humans, telling unknown, unseen and unexpected wildlife stories and uncovering the fundamental truth about what makes each one of the seven worlds unique.
