Dedicating lives to the sea

By Bristol24/7  Monday Jul 3, 2017

The Bristol premiere of a documentary telling the stories of a unique cast of characters who have dedicated their lives to the sea takes place on Wednesday at the apt venue of the Imax theatre at Bristol Aquarium.

From surfers and spearfishers to a former coal miner and a group of at-risk kids in San Francisco, Fishpeople is a film about the transformative effects of time spent in the ocean.

The film screening is being presented by City To Sea, a non-profit organisation based in Bristol running campaigns to prevent marine plastic pollution at source.
