Dinosaurs rampage on Bristol’s biggest cinema screen

By Robin Askew  Monday Aug 14, 2023

Astonishingly, it’s now 30 years since Steven Spielberg first stunned audiences with those amazing CGI dinosaurs of Jurassic Park. This was followed by two sequels of varying quality and a spin-off Jurassic World trilogy.

But none of these has ever bettered the groundbreaking original, which was briefly the highest grossing film of all time. Naturally, each development in technology has provided an excuse to return it to cinemas. A digital print turned up back in 2011, and on the film’s 20th anniversary a couple of years later, audiences were treated to a 3D conversion.
