BFI musicals! The Greatest Show on Screen is an exhaustive new season running at cinemas across the UK from October to January. And yes, it does include a re-release of Singin’ in the Rain. Footage from the Bristol Umbrella Flash Mob will be used with clips from similar events in Cardiff and Manchester – all choreographed by Bristol’s Laura Kriefman – to create a trailer that will be screened in cinemas nationwide to promote the BFI Musicals season.
Compass Presents is running a special immersive screening of Singin’ in the Rain at the Christmas Spiegeltent on December 18. Go here for further information.
