In an ode to Bristol’s historic architecture, the finale of the trilogy, The Giggle, was largely filmed at the heart of Bristol’s Old City in the summer of 2022 with the assistance of Bristol Film Office.
Broad Street, Clare Street, St Stephen’s Avenue, Marsh Street, Corn Street and All Saints Lane were all used as filming locations for The Giggle and The Snowmen Christmas Special back in 2012.
The major action scenes involved large numbers of supporting crew and artists alongside tanks, soldiers, wrecked vehicles, staged explosions and of course, the famous Tardis. One memorable scene included the shooting of an intense action scenes on Clare Street.
