Local genre filmmakers sought for new short film competition
Next year, Bristol’s Forbidden Worlds film festival makes a bid to find the genre filmmakers of the future with two hour-long showcases of sci-fi, action and horror shorts. Although the competition is open to all, the organisers are particularly keen to receive submissions from new local filmmakers.
The winners in each category will be chosen by a panel of expert judges. In addition, there will be a Forbidden Worlds Audience Choice Award, selected by festival punters, after watching the shortlisted entries on the giant screen in the former IMAX cinema at the aquarium.
