There are also previews of Booksmart from Monday and Godzilla: King of the Monsters on Wednesday and Thursday. Bristol Bad Film Club’s cunningly timed Godzilla-geddon event arrives on Saturday, and they’ve also got a delicious delusional directors double bill this week.
Deborah Lipstadt comes to the Watershed to talk about Denial. The ‘shed also has director Q&As after My Friend the Polish Girl and the Sunday screening of XY Chelsea. Up at the Everyman, there’s a director Q&A after the closing film in the chain’s Music Film Festival, See Know Evil.
Following the cancellation of Bristol Film Festival’s Bristol in Focus day, the makers of Homesitters are going ahead with their screening, but have shifted it to the Lord Mayor’s Mansion House.
