Queer Vision Returns

Bristol Pride‘s Queer Vision film festival returns to the Watershed for five screenings from July 3-12. From lesbian roller skaters to transgender Puerto Ricans, it’s a celebration of the best in recent LGBTQ cinema.

Documentary about a 10-year-old transgender girl who finds acceptance and empowerment in the world of roller derby. Screened with a new short film about Bristol’s very own roller derby teams.

Match

Patrick Stewart stars in an adaptation of the Tony Award-winning play about a gay retired dancer who’s approached by a young couple with an ulterior motive.

Broken Gardenias

An ultra-low-budget lesbian odd-couple road movie.

Tiger Orange

Estranged gay brothers reunite in smalltown California with explosive results in a drama starring porn star Frankie Valenti, aka Johnny Hazzard.

Mala Mala

An enjoyable yet resolutely non-exploitative documentary about nine very different transgender Puerto Ricans.
