Take your pooch to the pictures

By Robin Askew  Wednesday Nov 21, 2018

How many times have you come home from the cinema to greet your lonesome companion animal and thought to yourself: “Fido would really have enjoyed that. I wish I could take him with me”?

Well now this shameful anti-mutt discrimination is at an end thanks to Bath’s Little Theatre. The latest in their successful series of dog-friendly screenings takes place at 11am on Sunday, November 25, when your furry pal can enjoy Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.

What else do you need to know? Well, blankets are supplied to cover the cinema seats. Water bowls and doggie treats are also provided, and lighting is kept low instead of being completely dark. The sound is turned down to a lower level too. Oh, and if you’ve got a huge herd of hounds, beware that the small print reveals only one dog will be admitted per adult.
