The South West’s biggest celebration of African cinema, arts and culture returns

Opening with a preview of the new Senegalese drama Félicité (which returns for a week-long run later in the month) and closing with the regional premiere of stirring South African coming-of-age story The Wound, this year’s Afrika Eye festival takes over the Watershed on the weekend of November 10-12. Also on offer are neglected classics of African cinema, plus documentaries about female lawyers in Cameroon and the dying art of fantasy coffin making in Ghana.
