An Evening with Amanda Palmer in Bristol

By Laura Williams  Monday Apr 20, 2015

International performing artist, musician, actress, blogger, and New York Times best-selling author, Amanda Palmer is returning to the UK and Ireland for a brief run of live dates this summer, which starts in Bristol, at St George’s, on May 29.

A singular experience – this will be Amanda’s first major solo tour in these parts without either of her bands, the Dresden Dolls, or The Grand Theft Orchestra.

An Evening With Amanda Palmer comes with all the laughter and heartbreak audiences have come to expect from her intimate mix of original songs, spoken word pieces, cover tunes, audience q and a’s and more. Palmer is touring in support of her 2014 book, The Art Of Asking, which expands upon her 2013 TEDTalk, currently viewed more than 8 million times around the world.
