B24/7 at The Fringe: The Hysterical Injury

By Bristol24/7  Friday Feb 26, 2016

The Hysterical Injury are hardly newcomers to the music scene. Their first EP came out way back in 2009, and a superb debut album Dead Wolf Situation followed three years later.

They’re a band that just keeps getting better though. Since settling on a permanent lineup of Annie Gardiner (bass / vocals) and her brother Tom (drums) their songwriting has sharpened and expanded into something that fully transcends their hardcore / alternative rock roots.

Their most recent EP – Blood Burst – blew our fragile minds, and and we await their second album (currently in production) with more than a little excitement.

Meanwhile, they played two game-raising shows at the BBC Radio 6Music Festival Fringe in a week that also saw them selected for 6Music’s New Music Playlist. One of the gigs was on our very own stage at The Fleece, and it was a clear highlight of the day. Here’s a taster.
