There will also be a special DJ set from Beak> (pictured above) and a Corrs covers band formed for the night by staff at the Old Market venue.

Despite a police investigation, there has been no official reason given regarding how the fire broke out, but the damage reduced the building to rubble with tens of thousands of pounds of music equipment destroyed.

A crowdfunding page set up by Sam Drower, a member of one of the bands who lost items in the fire, with almost £1,500 raised so far from a goal of £32,000.

“The loss is devastating for many of us on not just a financial level, but on a personal and creative one as well,” Sam said.

“It took many years of hard work and lots of money to acquire the gear we use, and to have it all wiped out in the space of one night is simply heartbreaking.”

The charity night at the Louisiana starts at 7.30pm on Friday, January 18. Tickets cost £5, with all money taised going to the bands affected by the fire. For more information, visit www.thelouisiana.net/events/2019-01-18-flag-fen-the-louisiana.
