BBC Radio 1Xtra to broadcast live from Bristol

DJ Target will be broadcasting his BBC Radio 1Xtra show from Bristol on Monday evening.

Celebrating local talent and getting to know more about the city’s unique music scene, the show is part of the tour which visits 22 different cities throughout April.

For each show, BBC Radio 1Xtra sources tracks using BBC Music Introducing’s extensive network of local Introducing shows and features the music of undiscovered and emerging artists from the city.

The show also aims to connect with local artists and DJs in the area and will feature music sourced using BBC Music Introducing’s extensive network of local Introducing shows.

The Bristol show will feature a special DJ mix from SWU FM presenter, Bristol-born Chloe Sage.

DJ Target says: “I’m so excited to take the Touchdown Tour to Bristol. At 1Xtra, we’re all about finding and supporting the best new talent wherever they are in the UK and there are some great things happening in Bristol’s scene right now.

This tour is an amazing way for us to connect with the region and shine a spotlight on the city. Make sure you tune in tonight!”

The show will air on BBC 1Xtra on Monday, April 25 at 7pm.
