Big Bristol names on lineup for major fundraiser gig
Legendary drum and bass producer KRUST, DJ Queen Bee, DJ Hannza from Booty Bass and poet Lawrence Hoo are all on the lineup for a major fundraiser gig.
Taking place at Trinity on Thursday, the night of “resistance, music and dancing” is being held to raise funds for the ‘Colston 4’.
The lineup also includes a DJ set with pillars of Bristol’s urban reggae and Jungle scenes Laid Black, featuring live PA performances from Joe Peng and Bunjy.

The night starts at 7.30pm and will raise funds for the four people due to appear in court in December charged with criminal damage over the removal of Edward Colston’s statue in June 2020.
Organisers state: “Thousands of people toppled Colston on 8th June 2020. Show your support for those who have been singled out, while enjoying some of Bristol’s finest DJs and spoken word artists.”
Speaking to Bristol 24/7, Katie Finnegan-Clarke from the Glad Colston’s Gone collective asked people to “please consider donating to the Colston4 legal fund via Crowdfunder, or come along to the amazing fundraiser.”
‘We Toppled Colston’ starts at 7:30pm on Thursday, with tickets costing £10, purchased via the Trinity Centre’s website or on the door.
