Bristol New Music announce programme for 2018

By Rhys Buchanan  Wednesday Feb 28, 2018

Bristol New Music will return with a programme packed with forward thinking artists this April.

Taking place from Friday 20 through to Sunday 22, the lineup features both new and established names who will be performing across the city in some of our much loved venues.

The genre defying bill will see classical names such as Charles Hazlewood and The British Paraorchestra performing in The Colston Hall Foyer, through to electronic pioneer Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith putting on a visually immersive affair at the IMAX Cinema.

Other artists appearing across the weekend include Hawk and a Hacksaw, Keith Tippet, Rashad Becker and Mortitz Von Oswald.

“Bristol New Music, in its third and perhaps most ambitious instalment, is aiming to match their ambition by providing new and unusual spaces in which to perform”, says artistic director of Colston Hall and Bristol New Music, Todd Willis.

More information including the full list of events is available via: www.bristolnewmusic.org

Tickets will be available directly from the venues.
