Bristol’s new record label releases first song
A brand new record label has been launched in Bristol – and is completely changing the way music is sold.
As the first NFT record label in the world, White Label is disrupting the music industry by using NFT technologies that allow content to be unique in the digital world.
By being the world’s first NFT record label, customers are able to use NFTs (non-fungible tokens) that represent ownership of the music.
is needed now More than ever
Inspiration for the record label came from old school dubplates, where when they were sold out – they were sold out. This new NFT based record label will allow users to copy and share the audio they purchased, however like with a dubplate, they will always own the original.
The first track released on White Label is from Bristolian techno trio, Boys from Chariss.
For White Label, this is considered the future of music and they are on the hunt for more artists to share using their platform.
