Dot To Dot Festival announce first wave of acts for 2019

By Rhys Buchanan  Wednesday Feb 27, 2019

Bristol’s award winning multi-venue festival Dot To Dot has just announced the first wave of artists for this year.

As always it’s an indie-centric bill, headed up by catchy alternative dance outfit Crystal Fighters. Also swooping in at the top of the announcement are Jordan Rakei, Swim Deep and The Night Café.

Away from established artists, there’s also plenty of emerging talent and newer names present such as The Orielles, Dream Wife and Crows who are all at pivotal points in their careers.

There’s a healthy dose of local talent featuring as well, including the punk outfit Heavy Lungs, plus champions of weird-pop Wasuremono and Swimming Girls. This should only expand with further announcements in the run up to the festival which will take place on Saturday 25th May.

Festival organiser Anton Lockwood has said, “It might be our 15th year but our passion for emerging talent continues undiminished, there’s even more to be announced and we can’t wait.”
