Eliza Rose to join free talk at BIMM Bristol
The east london artist and DJ , Eliza Rose, will be speaking in Bristol.
Rose shot to fame in summer this year when she co-released smash hit, B.O.T.A. (Baddest of them All) with Interplanetary Criminals.
The five minute 58 second track generated millions of TikToks, held a steady run as the most Shazamed track in the UK and shot to number one in the charts to make Eliza Rose the first woman DJ to hit the top spot on the UK singles in 20 years.

B.O.T.A soon became the sound of the summer, with almost 100 million streams worldwide and over four billion streams on TikTok. A staple of London’s underground, Rose has played venues and events such as fabric, Rhythm Section, Spiritland and more, with shows at Field Day, Lost Village, Outlook and other summer festivals.
Eliza Rose will be speaking at an event curated by music mag CRACK and Bristol’s BIMM Institute as part of an ongoing series of conversations with some of the most influential and inventive voices in contemporary music.
Rose will join Vanessa Maria, a DJ and broadcaster also known for her high-energy sets and mental health advocacy, for the final talk of the season.
The discussion will dig into the process behind creating a number one hit, with Rose providing insight on the story behind the track, her career so far, and her astronomical rise to the top of the charts in 2022
Held at BIMM Bristol’s new Moon Street campus in Stokes Croft, the event is sure to generate a buzz. The new space hosts a multi-use learning and production space, a venue for live music, recording studios and DJ booths for students to use.
The talk takes place at 5pm on December 6, and is free to attend and open to students as well as the public. You can get tickets here.
