Ezra sells out Bristol Summer Series in 90min

By Rachel Morris  Friday Feb 27, 2015

Tickets for George Ezra’s headline concert at this year’s Bristol Summer Series have flown out in under 90 minutes, organisers have said.

Tickets went on sale this morning at 9am for the series, which also features concerts from Kaiser Chiefs, Seasick Steve and Jessie J.

The BIMM graduate has had a monumental year, with his debut album taking top spot in the UK charts and no less than four nominations at this week’s Brits, for the categories: British Male Solo Artist, British Breakthrough Act, Best British Album and Best British Single.

Although the singer walked away empty-handed, tickets sales for his Bristol Summer Series concert are a major coup for the star, who says he still calls Bristol his spiritual home in an interview with Bristol24/7.

Ezra has said:  “Knowing I’m going to be a part of the Bristol Summer Series is just madness. It’s already a highlight of my summer and it’s not even started yet.”

The Bristol Summer Series takes place from 24 – 27 June at Lloyds Amphitheatre.
