Foodie and boozie make: Foozie
Forget everything you know about brunch. Foozie and Motion have teamed up to create Bristol’s ultimate day party, Brunch 808! Bringing great street food and some of Bristol’s best DJ’s together to create a day party like no other, May’s event will be kicking things off with a 90’s special.
Bristol ladies Dutty Girl will be providing some of the best in hip hop, house, garage and chart-toppers from arguably the best musical decade alongside Dave & Dan. I got a little sneak preview about what to expect from Foozie’s upcoming brunch series with some Quickfire Questions…
Which artists are inspiring you right now?
I’m a huge fan of Rodriguez Jr; a house and techno producer from France. His live act is amazing.
Who are your major musical influences?
If you look right back to when my passion for music started, it was The Prodigy, Moby and Fantazia and Helter Skelter tape packs. I went to see The Prodigy in 1997 when I was 14 and have been hooked on electronic music ever since.
What song do you pick to get ready for a night out?
I’ve been listening to the same Kerry Chandler Resident Advisor set since it was recorded in 2012. It’s my go-to set for getting the night started.
