On the hunt for golden tickets
To mark the launch of the Colston Hall’s 150th anniversary programme, 21 golden tickets will be hidden around Bristol from Friday.
Lucky finders of the tickets can win access to a gig of their choice, as well as guaranteed access to the 150th Birthday Bash on September 20 and a gift pack of Colston Hall celebration beer brewed by Bath Ales.
And one lucky finder of a platinum pass will be offered tickets to an unlimited number of gigs of their choice from September until June 2018.

Clues to the whereabouts of the tickets will be released on the Colston Hall website and social media channels from Friday.
The Birthday Bash on September 20 will take place exactly 150 years from when the doors first opened at the Colston Hall, with musicians, DJs, installations and projections across every inch of the historic venue.
On September 23, the birthday celebrations will continue with the Big Anniversary Sing with BBC Radio Bristol which will see a massed choir of hundreds of voices.
Bristol’s music scene takes over on October 7 with bands, DJs and record labels featuring This Is The Kit, Fantasy Orchestra, Qu Junktions, ThisisDA, Susso and No Go Stop.
And taking place each Sunday between August 20 and September 3, Bakehouse Factory’s Hall of Memories will take visitors on an immersive, theatrical journey of the Colston Hall’s past.
Louise Mitchell, chief executive of Bristol Music Trust which runs the Colston Hall, said: “Generations of artists and audiences have come together in the building to make incredible music and memories and this September we want to open the doors and invite the city to join us for a huge birthday party and special programme of events.”
One golden ticket will be hidden in Bedminster, Clifton, Easton, Filton, Henbury, Hotwells, Lawrence Hill, St Philip’s, Bishopston, Brislington, Cotham, Hengrove, Horfield, Knowle, St Paul’s, Stokes Croft and Totterdown, with four hidden across the city centre.
