Idles announce UK tour with support from Lice

By Rhys Buchanan  Tuesday Feb 6, 2018

Bristol’s revered punk titans Idles have announced a UK tour with support from friends Lice – but they won’t be playing in their home city.

The band will hit the road this April with the closest date to Bristol taking place at Bath’s Komedia. They’ll also be playing in places which are often left out from the touring circuit such as Southend, Ramsgate and Coventry.

“We are here to build bridges; one savage song at a time, also Unity tour was catchier than What It Was Like To Meet Dave Grohl Tour,” the band said through their Facebook page.

This news follows the announcement that Idles had recently completed their second album at Monnow Valley Studio in South Wales. The band are also set to tour the US and Canada later in the year with two sold out shows in New York.
