By Rhys Buchanan  Monday Dec 3, 2018

Idles are set to close their mammoth year with a charity auction in support of Samaritans.

The band will be selling 18 pieces of original album artwork from the Joy As An Act Of Resistance package.

The auction includes the front and back cover of the record as well as pieces of the interchangeable artwork that come with the deluxe version of their second album.

Artists include frontman Joe Talbot along with his father, also former Maccabees vocalist Orlando Weeks and many more.

Earlier in the year many of the pieces followed the band on their world tour, going on display at pop-up exhibitions in London, New York and Paris.

The auction will go live at 9am this Friday 7th and run across the weekend until 6pm on Sunday 9th.
