‘In spite of it all, life is beautiful’
A mysterious slogan that has appeared close to Temple Meads can be revealed to be part of a teaser campaign for the new album from one of Bristol’s biggest bands.
‘In spite of it all, life is beautiful’ reads the sign on Lower Approach Road.
Next to the wording is a black and white illustration of a helmet on which are the initials DGG.

A QR code takes you to a website, crawler.world, with Crawler being the name of the new album by Idles, due to be released on November 12.
On the website is a link to The Beachland Ballroom, the first song to be released from what will be the Bristol band’s fourth studio album.
The slogan is on advertising boards owned by Out of Hand just a few hundred yards from Hart’s Bakery.
‘In spite of it all, life is beautiful’ is a direct quote from near the end of Crawler, according to a recent interview with Idles lead singer Joe Talbot.
Idles begin a 27-date US tour on Thursday, with a UK and Europe tour starting in January. The closest gig to Bristol is at the Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff.
