Killers and Manics first acts confirmed for Ashton Gate shows in 2020

By Martin Booth  Friday Nov 15, 2019

“On this gloomy morning we are feeling on the brightside,” teased Ashton Gate Stadium‘s Twitter account before revealing the first of next summer’s acts to play in BS3.

The Killers will be heading to the stadium on the evening of Tuesday, June 9 as part of their biggest ever UK tour.

Support will come from Welsh rockers Manic Street Preachers, who last played in Bristol at the Lloyds Amphitheatre in 2017.

Next summer’s shows follow the success of this year’s events which saw Muse, Rod Stewart, the Spice Girls and Take That take to the Ashton Gate turf.

General tickets to The Killers go on sale on November 22 at 9am via www.ticketmaster.co.uk. Hospitality packages are available at the same time via www.tickets.bristol-sport.co.uk.
