Leading underground UK garage producer/DJ makes Bristol debut
Through the UK Garage resurgence of the last three years, there are few names that can be relied on as much as ZeroFG. Through his various releases and collaborations on leading underground labels such as Dr Banana and Council Work, along with his own recent imprint TXTBK, Zero quickly established himself as a constant supplier of well-produced, bass driven 2-step garage with a lethal edge.
However, Zero has been a tough nut to crack if you’ve been trying to see him live in action. He’s only played four gigs over the past year, and none of them in Bristol. Regardless of the reasons for why that may be, that’s all about to change.
Saturday May 7 will see ZeroFG take to Portland Square’s intimate underground wine bar, Cosies, for a two hour set that will no doubt be a special one to behold. Brought to you by Scared Money Records, a new garage/jungle label that’s seen impressive amounts of success during its 9 month lifespan, the night will be vinyl focussed, paying homage to the roots of the UK garage scene.
is needed now More than ever
On support duties, there’ll of course be Scared Money frontman Iller Instinct bringing the garage flavour, with rising producer/DJ and videographer extraordinaire LTP bringing up the rear. There’ll also be a cameo from fresh on the scene garage DJ Chappy, providing the warm up energy.
There are no pre-booked tickets, just turn up, pay a fiver on the door, and you’re in.
