A Bristol venue from the team behind Glastonbury Festival’s Shangri-La is set to become a permanent fixture, promising “a show-stopping lineup of music, art, tech and tequila”.
Lost Horizon opened in the summer as a pop-up space in St Jude’s and to mark its continuance has announced a top-draw lineup of music and art over autumn, including one of the world’s biggest DJs.
The “creative playground” says that it will “continue to push boundaries showcasing art, live music and performance'”.

Fatboy Slim will be playing at the 350-capacity venue on Elton Street on October 22, in advance of his We’ve Come a Long Long Way Together tour which will see him playing arenas elsewhere across the UK.
Tickets for Fatboy Slim will be available from 9am on Friday via www.losthorizonlive.com.
Other headline acts and party organisers at Lost Horizon in the coming months will include Big Joanie, Club Djembe, Dub Pistols, Decoy and Kurupt Fm, Krust, and the Scorpios, Wargasm & Yung Singh.
In October, ShangrilART takeovers return to Lost Horizon every Saturday afternoon and some Sundays, with a programme of workshops, talks and community events.
Lost Horizon and Shangri-La director, Robin Collings, said: “At Shangrila we have hosted so many greats over the years but for me, Fatboy Slim coming to Lost Horizon, a 350-cap venue, is going to be really special; a chance to see a true legend up close and personal. This is what the venue was made for, Bristol better be ready!”

Chris ‘Tofu’ Macmeikan, director at Lost Horizon and Shangri-La, added: “Independant live music venues are the lifeblood of new music and socialising.
“As inner city development gets more crazy and becomes the realm of millionaires it’s quite rare for people to make their own arts venue.
“Lost Horizon and team Shangri-La, have always brought the hottest and most diverse underground music to new audiences.
“The Lost Horizon venue is an excellent place to find killer new sounds and alternative culture. We’re super proud to bring you a whole army of new and unseen brilliance.”
