Jimmy Cliff and Grandmaster Flash to play Harbour Festival
Reggae and ska legend Jimmy Cliff will be performing at The Amphitheatre for a one-off Harbour Festival show this summer, along with the Godfather of hip-hop Grandmaster Flash and the Trojan Soundsystem.
They will be taking to the stage on Friday 20 July for this one-off event presented by Colston Hall. The huge bill will tie in with the annual Harbourside Festival and follows on from previous years which have seen the likes of Goldie and Outlook Orchestra perform.
is needed now More than ever
Having sold out both previous events, Todd Wills, the director of arts at Colston Hall has said, “We’re proud of being able to put together diverse, exciting and out-of-the-ordinary line-ups to bring them into the heart of the city, and this one is no different.”

Seeing these three diverse and vibrant artists come together looks to be the perfect way to kickstart the summer in Bristol. After the event, celebrations will move into the Colson Hall Foyer for a special afterparty with beatbox live loop master Beardyman and American hip-hop DJ and producer Peanut Butter Wolf.
