Lionel Richie to perform in Bristol

Lionel Richie will come to Bristol in 2021 as part of his UK tour.

The Grammy-award winning singer will perform an open air concert on June 21, 2021 at a yet-to-be-announced city centre location.

Tickets are on sale for £81.75 from 10am on Friday with presale taking place on Wednesday and Thursday. The concert location will be revealed in the new year.

“We couldn’t be more excited to announce this show,” say concert promoters Senbla and AEG. “Lionel Richie, the icon, deserves an iconic outdoors site to perform at.

“Due to the current tier three restrictions in Bristol this has meant it wouldn’t be appropriate to announce the location until early in new year, but we know everyone will be excited as we are!”

Bryan Adams has also been announced to perform at a Bristol city centre location on June 26, 2021, with tickets for his show costing £59.95.

The two performers could be using same stage that Bristol Sounds, taking place at the Lloyds Amphitheatre between June 24 and 28.
