Ministry of Sound Classical to play open-air concert
Ministry of Sound Classical is bringing a live show of re-imagined dance anthems to Bristol.
Its 30-piece orchestra is set to play an array of famed dance tracks as part of an open-air gig at Gloucestershire County Cricket Club‘s Seat Unique Stadium.
The concert, which will take place on July 28, will mark the first live music event at the grounds since Tom Jones performed there in 2019.

The concert, which will run from 6pm until 11pm, will fuse together classical musicians, vocalists and DJs to create a night of re-orchestrated and re-imagined dance tracks.
Seb Fontaine, Judge Jules and DJ Fergie will grace the decks alongside the orchestra for a unique performance at the Bishopston stadium.
Music lovers can expect to hear tracks like Fatboy Slim‘s Right Here, Right Now, The Chemical Brothers‘ Hey Boy Hey Girl and Insomnia by Faithless brought to life.
Will Brown, chief executive at Gloucestershire Cricket, said: “We are delighted to be bringing live music to Bristol for the first time since the Covid pandemic.
“Ministry of Sound Classical are renowned for putting on incredible live performances up and down the country, and we’re really excited to see them perform to a sold out Seat Unique Stadium in July.”
Tickets start at £40 and you can book through Gloucestershire County Cricket Club’s website.
