Get creative with Mix Radio Remix Academy

By Ben Wright  Thursday Oct 15, 2015

Bristol Plays Music launches MixRadio Remix Academy this month. Split into three Collectives – Instrumental, Vocal and Digital – the Remix Academy is a creative development programme run by Bristol Plays Music at Colston Hall. It aims to help young people get the most out of their passion for music, with the support of professional music mentors.

The academy takes the shape of weekly workshops, with regular sharing and performance opportunities. Young people can develop their musical skills in a supportive and dynamic environment with fully equipped facilities including the latest music technology.

Young musicians can explore their inspirations, develop their skills, and create their own music which they can then record and perform, all with the support of professional mentors. Based at Colston Hall, Bristol’s largest concert venue, the Remix Studios are fully equipped with the latest technology, including Mac suites and live band rooms with full kit.

Whether you are into singing or MCing, drums, piano or guitar, music production or DJing, our Remix Studios provide a creative and supportive space for every musical interest.
