Muse respond to disappointed fans after scrapping Bristol show
Earlier in the year Muse announced Bristol among a list of cities they would be playing as part of their world tour in support of their new album Simulation Theory.
However, fans of the band in the South West were left disappointed when the venues were announced, only to see that the Bristol show had been scrapped.
So cheers then @muse @MattBellamy @LiveNation I cannot risk buying a ticket tomorrow all because of this image it’s such a pity it’s likely I will miss out altogether now but can’t risk paying out £300 for London if Bristol is added #letusknow #musebristol pic.twitter.com/HEpyE82qWw

Now responding to a multitude of fans online, frontman Matt Bellamy commented on his recent Instagram post saying: “We want to do a West Country show for sure, investigating Devon options.”

Although for some fans this news will come as further disappointment, as the show was originally named to be in Bristol with lots of rumours suggesting it would take place at Ashton Gate.
The band also haven’t mentioned anything as to why the Bristol date wasn’t announced with the rest of the tour.
Fans who pre-ordered Simulation Theory gained pre-sale access to the list of dates originally posted which left many out of pocket following the news they wouldn’t play Bristol.
Meanwhile, Simulation Theory marked the Devon band’s sixth UK album number one album after it shot to the top of the charts last week, beating off competition from Olly Murs.
