Saturday: Lice / The Rebel / Melt Dunes, Exchange
Post-punk troublemakers Lice have quickly established themselves in the Bristol scene, supporting Fat White Family and The Fall along the way. Main support for their first birthday show comes from The Rebel, aka Ben Wallers of The Country Teasers, whose intense performances (and controversy-baiting lyrics) are also well worth stepping out for.

Sunday: Oozing Wound / Knifeman / Sex Swing, Exchange
Speed metal band Oozing Wound cite one of their influences as Satan, and their unrelenting, pounding guitar riffs fall somewhere between sludge metal and thrash. Punishingly intense jazz-kraut-punk outfit Sex Swing are one of our favourite live bands, and they’ve just released an excellent debut LP on The Quietus’s own label.
