A new walking tour is now running in Bristol, aiming to showcase some of Bristol’s local venues alongside stories of Bristol’s musical past and present.

Bristol Rock ‘n’ Roll Walking Tour is set to run monthly on Sundays with the next one taking place on May 14.

Promising tales of classic visits to the city by renowned artists such as Sinatra, Bowie, Beatles, Bob Dylan and The Stereophonics, the tour will also have displays of iconic posters, set lists and photos of the acts at each of the locations on the route.

The tour is led by John Hughes who has also hosted the Haunted and Hidden Walk for the past 16 years.

John has had his foot in the music industry for several decades and has managed local bands in Bristol for over 30 years. 2020 saw the release of a book of his time with local band FAB 208.
