Noods Radio set to host two day pop-up broadcast from Barcelona

By Issy Packer  Tuesday May 10, 2022

Broadcasting live from Barcelona centre on May 20 and 21, the pop-up will be located at 45/33, a new venture behind the venue 33/45, a popular bar at the heart of Barcelona’s music scene.

Revered internationally for hosting pop-ups and collaborating with some of the biggest collectives in the city such as OffSonar and Primavera Sound, the bar will now play host to Bristol’s very own Noods Radio.

The broadcast will feature a range of artists, including Alicia Carrera, Phran & OMEGA III, Tamarindo,  MANS O, LANAV & the Abundance Collective, EVOL, Marina  Herlop and John Talabot.

The radio station aims to give listeners a chance to discover and celebrate a different music scene from across the continent.

Over the two days, Noods will be showcasing some of the exciting talent from the city while encapsulating the sound at the heart of the radio station; playing wide reaching selections from weirdo electronics to slow jams, dancehall to IDM and even dancefloor cuts.

The event was made possible with the help of Carhartt WIP, Montana Colours and Elevator Sound EU.

You will be able to listen to the live broadcast in the UK via their website.

You can also help support independent radio by being a part of their listener support scheme, Noods Luvers.
