Popular venue due to close for year-long refurbishment

The Black Swan on Stapleton Road will be closed from the beginning of May to undertake huge refurbishment.

The popular venue next to the M32, renowned for its weekly lineups of some of the best underground dance music around, is due to close for 12 months.

A number of events will be taking place at the historic Easton pub in the leadup to the closure.

Taking place on April 28 to 30, the Black Swan will be hosting a three-part event which will include one of their biggest ever lineups.

The full lineup is yet to be announced but Requiem Soundsystem and Method 24 will be supplying the live music in the main room while Scotland Yard will be taking over the garden.

The club have also announced that the final Bristol Dub Club before they close will take place on April 7.
