Portishead release video in memory of Jo Cox

Portishead have released the video to their cover of SOS by Abba to mark what would have been the 42nd birthday of Jo Cox, the Batley & Spen MP who was killed last week:

The video ends with Cox’s quote from her maiden speech in parliament: “We have far more in common than which divides us.”

SOS, the first new Portishead track in six years, was recorded for the soundtrack of High Rise, Ben Wheatley’s movie adaptation of the JG Ballard novel.
