On the face of it, watching a pair of middle-aged ex-wrestlers pacing about in clown make up for an hour might not seem like your idea of a good night. But hang on, because despite what you may have heard about God-fearing Detroit horror rap aggregation Insane Clown Posse, they put on one of the best, most unhinged live shows that you’re likely to see all year.

In almost a defining case of ‘anything could happen’ past shows have seen monsters, showgirls, trampolines and a whole load of region fizzy pop spewed into the crowd, and a bunch of fans, known within Insane Clown Posse circles as the Juggalos, who will paint up, dress up and play up just like their heroes. You genuinely won’t have ever seen anything like this intense explosion of frat boy fun and games, but do be sure to take along a change of clothing, as it’s bound to get messy.

Insane Clown Posse will play SWX Bristol on November 16.
