Bedminster record store Friendly Records has been a hive of musical activity since they first opened their doors. Now they’re teaming up with Caught By The River to put on blues and folk guitarist Marisa Anderson at The Southbank Club on Tuesday, November 7.

Anyone who’s seen Anderson live will know that her music comes straight from the soul. Her songs pack an intimate quality that’s perfect for deep thinking.

Support comes from Toby Hay, who’s more of a traditional folk musician and was recently nominated for the Welsh Music Prize. Names from legendary Bristol group Beak> will also be on hand to spin some records after the music.
