Recording studio starts crowdfunding campaign after fire
Omni Rooms is a creative space built from scratch which offers a place for producers, bands, artists and performers, offering recording sessions, rehearsal practices and mixing consoles.
On October 16, the studio in St Jude’s caught fire which consumed all of the contents of its main room.
This included the structural work designed for the studio in the Old Malt House on Little Ann Street as well as thousands of pounds worth of equipment owned by the studio and owned by bands currently working there, including Last Hyena, IOTA and Empire of Dust.
is needed now More than ever
Fortunately nobody was hurt and the cause of the fire is believed to be an accident but investigations are still ongoing.
A Go Fund Me page has been set up to help the Omni Rooms as well as a raffle with every £10 you donate is one entry into the raffle.
Prizes include a £300 tattoo voucher from No Regrets Studio, a signed IDLES drum skin, free rehearsal session at Factory Studios and free entry to Volunteer Tavern Quiz with £25 behind the bar, amongst many others and more to come.
