Review: Bad Nerves, Exchange – ‘Bringing an upbeat, boisterous and energetic atmosphere’
Rockin’ loud and in your face, the melodic sounds of Bad Nerves meet a lively and excited crowd at the Exchange. This five-piece powerpop rock’n’roll band from Essex are on the second leg of their UK tour. Bringing an upbeat, boisterous and energetic atmosphere the band set the levels high, played some wicked music and got the crowd going. The setting for the band at the Exchange worked well, a dark and dingy room with some great lighting and speaker set ups the sound hit home and laid down a great atmosphere.
They’ve received great feedback from their debut album Bad Nerves from Radio 1 DJs and have getting accolades such as Rockest Record and Track of the Week from Radio 1 and Classic Rock respectively. They were also named Amazons ‘Best New Band’ this past January and have received major DSP from Spotify, Amazon and Apple for their recent single Don’t Stop. This band is building up a strong following with consistent releases and impressive style.
The atmosphere of the gig was electric, everyone was dancing and getting involved with the band. Bad Nerves have more stops on their UK tour, they still have Birmingham, Manchester and London to tick off. Highly recommended, check these guys out for rock n roll goodness.
