Ritual Union announce first wave of acts for 2024

The multi-venue day festival returns to 2024 on March 23.

Taking place at several different venues including, SWX, Rough Trade and Strange Brew, 2024 will see the addition of The Island joining for the first time since its inception in 2022.

Ritual Union prides itself on securing the best of the up and coming talent Bristol, the UK and beyond has to offer and next year’s lineup is no different.

Co-headlining the event will be Dream Wife and Liz Lawrence, who are supported by leading names on the bill including Do Nothing, Widowspeak, Cheekface, William Doyle and Das Koolies.

The day festival also includes two exclusive performances, including an opening set from the legendary Martin Newell AKA The Cleaners From Venus, plus a reunion show set for the recently reformed Brooklyn band Cende.

Local label Spinny Nights will also return for 2024, delivering a curated platter of avant-garde leaning, genre-blending artists that range across electronic, industrial, slow-core and straight-up pop.

First wave names include their latest signing BUFFEE, plus Damefrisør, Pearling, ThisisDA, JÆD, Arcadia Planitia Five-a-Side Football Team and Dead Space Chamber Music.
