Rivertown returns with lineup of Americana stars

By Rhys Buchanan  Thursday Mar 21, 2019

Bristol’s annual roots and Americana celebration returns this summer and it’s bigger than ever.

The 2019 edition of Rivertown boasts a six week-long programme which will take over venues such as St George’s, O2 Academy, SWX, Crofters Rights, The Bristol SU and more.

Running from late June and throughout July, the first acts to be announced on the bill include legends from the worlds of country music, blues and bluegrass.

Artistic Director at Colston Hall Todd Wills has said, “River Town is establishing a great reputation for bringing together legends and newcomers from the worlds of country, blues and bluegrass and what a way to announce its return than with these celebrated acts.”

Tickets for the rest of River Town 2019 go on sale at 10am on Friday 22 March and will be available through: www.colstonhall.org
