Robin Allender dreams on
Long regarded as one of Bristol’s best guitarists, Robin Allender has toured extensively with the likes of Yann Tierson and Gravenhurst as well as being a member of ace Bristol alternative rock band Azalea City.
He’s also a fine songwriter in his own right whose lyrics and melodies drip with a romantic understatement that’s unmistakably English. Above The Dreamer’s Head – his self-released new solo album – comprises nine tracks of intricate finger-picking and pastoral atmospheres. It features an impressive array of guest musicians including Dave Collingwood, Alex Wilkins and Sean Talbot.
