Shindig Weekender Festival announces Soul II Soul

Shindig Weekender has announced Soul II Soul as a main act for their fifth festival at Gilcombe Farm in Bruton.

The event claims to be the first and funkiest festival in the West Country, offering a soulful does of relaxation and revelry to to attendees and their families. The next one takes place from 25 to 28 May 2018.

Also appearing on the lineup are Dub Pistols, A Skillz, Crazy P, Stanton Warriors, Slamboree, Macka B and Terry Farley to mention but a few. Comedy is also a new development this year, which includes Phil Jupitus with more big names coming our way.

Festival co founder Will Lardner says, “Soul II Soul have produced some of the most influential records of the last three decades. We can’t wait to welcome them to our corner of Somerset because they embody the spirit of Shindig, filling dancefloors with good vibes and music!”
